The energy consumption of a dehumidifier depends on its capacity and the humidity in the room. A 12L model uses an average of 185 watts per hour and is suitable for smaller spaces such as bedrooms or small living rooms.

Cost calculation:

• Daily consumption (with 3 hours of use per day): 0.555 kWh
• Daily cost (at €0.22 per kWh): €0.12 per day
• Monthly cost (with daily use): approximately €3.66 per month

The more humid the room, the harder the dehumidifier has to work, which can lead to higher energy consumption.
