How do I know if my home is too damp?
Condensation on the windows, a musty smell, patches of mould and washing that takes ages to dry are the most common signs. A hygrometer gives you an exact reading: humidity between 40 and 60 per cent is comfortable.
How much electricity does a dehumidifier use?
Depending on the model, between 185 W (10 and 12 litres) and 395 W (25 litres).
How often do I need to empty the tank?
That depends on how humid it is and the size of the tank, which ranges from 2 litres to 6.5 litres. If you use the drain hose, you don't need to empty it at all.
Where's the best place to put a dehumidifier?
In the room where the moisture comes from, such as the bathroom, bedroom, utility room or cellar. Leave some space around it so the air can circulate freely.
How long is the warranty?
You get a 2-year warranty. And if the product isn't right for you after all, you can return it within 30 days.
