Which dehumidifier is suitable for my space (12L, 20L, or 25L)?

Choose based on the room size. Our compressor dehumidifiers are suitable per model for: Aura 10L - up to approx. 20 m²; Luna/Vivid 12L - up to approx. 20 m²; Halo 12L - comparable (air volume 123 m³/hour); Harmony 16L - up to approx. 30 m². The larger Orbit (20L/25L) and Eclipse (25L) models are intended for larger or more humid spaces such as basements and semi-basements. If in doubt, choose a model with a slightly higher capacity than your space requires, so the appliance works more efficiently.

How do I connect the drain hose for continuous water drainage?

Every dehumidifier comes with a drain hose. To connect it: turn off the appliance and unplug it, locate the drain connection on the back, remove the rubber cap, and firmly insert one end of the hose into the opening. Place the other end in a floor drain, sink, or bucket. Make sure the hose always slopes downward, is not higher than the drain opening, and is not kinked or twisted. During continuous drainage, the water tank remains in the appliance; the water drains through the hose instead of into the tank, so you no longer need to empty the tank.

What is the washer-dryer function, and how do I turn it on?

The laundry-drying function (on some models, “CNT” or a T-shirt icon) keeps the dehumidifier running continuously, so moisture from wet laundry is removed faster. Press the MODE button repeatedly until the T-shirt icon lights up or “CNT” appears on the display. The appliance will then continue running until you turn it off or the tank is full.

The back of my dehumidifier is freezing - is that normal?

Light ice formation may occur when the room is cold; the appliance then defrosts itself automatically (auto-defrost) and resumes operation. Our dehumidifiers are designed to operate between 5 °C and 35 °C. If the room temperature falls below approximately 5 °C, the low-temperature protection activates (error message 'LO') and the appliance temporarily stops. If the back continues to freeze even at normal room temperature, please contact customer service.

Can I use the dehumidifier in an unheated garage or basement?

Our dehumidifiers use compressor technology and perform best at room temperature. They are suitable for use between 5 °C and 35 °C, so a garage or basement is fine as long as the temperature does not drop below 5 °C. At lower temperatures, dehumidification decreases significantly and the frost protection activates (displaying 'LO'). For cold, unheated spaces below 5 °C, a compressor dehumidifier is less suitable.

What does the error message 'LO' on my Eclipse mean?

LO' means that the ambient temperature is too low for normal operation; the device's protection is active. Move the dehumidifier to a warmer room, unplug it for a few minutes, and restart it. Also check that the filter is clean and the air vents are unobstructed. If the message persists at normal room temperature, please contact us.

My new dehumidifier is giving off a strange odor

A slight “new appliance” smell during the first few days is normal and comes from the compressor. It will disappear on its own after several uses. If the smell persists or smells like burning, turn off the appliance and contact us.

What is a good humidity level in the home?

Healthy humidity levels range from 40% to 60%, with around 50% being ideal. The Bloomfold Hygrometer Pulse lets you measure this easily in each room.

Can I use the dehumidifier in the bathroom?

Yes, a dehumidifier is very effective at preventing moisture and mold growth in the bathroom. However, the appliance is not splash-proof: place it on a dry, stable surface away from the shower, bathtub, and sink.

What is the difference between the Halo, Vivid, Orbit, and Eclipse dehumidifiers?

Quick overview of capacity and space: Halo 12L and Vivid 12L are compact models for spaces up to approximately 20 m² (Vivid is also available in black). Orbit is available in 16L, 20L, and 25L versions for larger spaces. Eclipse 25L is the most powerful model, suitable for large or very humid spaces. All models operate between 5–35 °C and feature automatic defrosting, a full-tank indicator, sleep mode, laundry-drying mode, and the option for continuous drainage.

What is the difference between the Aura, Whisper, and Cyclone air purifiers?

The Cyclone is our most powerful air purifier: a 2-in-1 air purifier and fan with an H13 HEPA filter in a multilayer system (with UVC and activated carbon), a laser dust sensor, automatic mode, and oscillation. The Aura is a compact air purifier with an H13 HEPA filter and ionization function, sleep mode, a timer (2/4/6/8 hours), and Wi-Fi control via the Tuya Smart or Google Home app; a filter indicator light signals when the filter needs to be replaced. The Whisper is our extra-quiet air purifier with a HEPA 13 and carbon filter.

Which air purifier is suitable for allergies or pets?

All our air purifiers have an H13 HEPA filter that removes pollen, particulate matter, skin flakes, and other allergens from the air with an efficiency of up to 99.97% - also suitable for hay fever and households with pets. Choose the model based on your room size: a compact purifier is sufficient for up to 25 m²; for larger spaces (up to 50 m²), we recommend the Cyclone.

My air purifier filter gets dirty or black quickly - is that normal?

Yes, that means the purifier is doing its job: the filter captures fine dust and pollutants that would otherwise remain in the air. In rooms with lots of dust, pets, or cooking odors, the filter discolors more quickly. Is the filter visibly dirty? Then it’s time to replace it.

How much noise do the air purifiers and dehumidifiers make (at night)?

The Cyclone air purifier produces a maximum of 65 dB on the highest setting; on the lowest/sleep setting, it is whisper-quiet. Our dehumidifiers are quiet: the Halo reaches ≤36 dB(A), while the Luna, Vivid, Harmony, and Aura reach ≤38 dB(A) - ideal for use at night, especially in sleep mode. For use in the bedroom, we recommend sleep mode, which reduces both the noise and the display brightness.

The remote control for my fan isn’t working

First check the remote control’s battery and replace it with a new coin cell. For the Airflow Pro tower fan, this is a CR2025 coin cell. Point the remote control directly at the device’s receiver, with no obstacles in between, and make sure you are within range. If it still does not work, check whether the fan responds when you use the buttons on the device itself, and contact customer service.

How do I turn the oscillation function of my fan on or off?

This varies by model. On the Cyclone air purifier/fan (BF400), you can turn oscillation (the back-and-forth movement) on or off using the oscillation button on the control panel or via the remote control; in pure purification mode, oscillation is off and it remains pointed straight ahead. When switched off, it continues rotating briefly to center itself. The Airflow Pro tower fan also has an oscillation/mode function via the panel and remote control.

My fan is making a rattling or loud noise

Check that the fan is stable and level and that all parts are securely fastened. If the noise persists, send us a video in which the noise is audible, along with your order number - our technical team will then assess whether it is covered by the warranty.

Is the bladeless fan safe for children and pets?

Yes - a bladeless fan has no accessible rotating blades on the outside, keeping little fingers and paws safe. As with any electrical appliance, make sure the cord is out of reach.

Does the mobile air conditioner’s window sealing kit fit sliding and tilt-and-turn windows?

The portable air conditioner comes with an adjustable window sealing kit (window kit) with an adapter for the exhaust hose. Extend the kit to fit the length of your window, connect the exhaust hose to it, and then close the window to clamp the kit in place; if necessary, secure it further with tape. The kit is adjustable in length, so it fits various window openings.

Does the portable air conditioner have Wi-Fi, and how do I enable it?

Yes. Our portable air conditioners (Flow 9,000 BTU and Airstream 12,000 BTU) can be controlled via Wi-Fi using the Smart Life app. To set it up: install the Smart Life app and create an account, activate the Wi-Fi function in the device settings, place the air conditioner about 5 meters from your router, and press and hold the timer button to start network configuration. Once the Wi-Fi light flashes, pair the device in the app (2.4 GHz network). If pairing does not work within 3 minutes, repeat the step using the timer button.
